Seiko x Supercars 2025

Seiko 5 Sports Supercars Limited Edition SRPL54K, a striking timepiece that celebrates the brand’s enduring partnership with the Repco Supercars Championship. This new release marks another milestone in a collaboration that began in 2014 and has recently been extended for an additional two years, solidifying Seiko’s commitment to the thrilling world of Australian motorsport.

For 2025, Seiko Australia shifts its focus to this essential element of motorsport. The latest Limited Edition Supercars watch is inspired by the relentless energy, technical precision, and unforgiving nature of the track. A place where every twist, turn, climb, and descent pushes both driver and machine to their absolute limits. A challenge where milliseconds define legacies. This exclusive edition is more than just a timepiece - it is a tribute to the unwavering spirit of racing.
The 2025 Limited Edition Supercars Seiko 5 is a bold tribute to the intensity of the track, featuring a unique textured dial that mirrors the raw surface of racing asphalt. Every detail is designed for a tactile connection to motorsport, from the grid-inspired bezel markers to the Lumi Brite 12 o’clock marker—a homage to the starting lights that signal the rush of competition.
This limited-edition timepiece is presented in a specially designed collector’s box, featuring a detailed track map of the legendary Mount Panorama circuit in Bathurst—an unmistakable nod to one of Supercars’ most iconic racetracks. Completing the experience, the box also houses a scaled replica of the pit lane watch tower, with the limited-edition serial number engraved on the case back, ensuring every piece remains an exclusive part of motorsport history.

SEIKO 55th anniversary of Seiko 5:

Back to 1969!

Without a doubt, the most important year for wrist watches was 1969. Omega Speedmaster was worn on the moon, as a true tool watch. What a legend.

In 1969, the other side of the world, Seiko was making equally legendary stuff too: humble, mechanical, self winding sports watches simply named 'SEIKO 5'. Above all: affordable and eye-catching.

By the mid 1970s the world was sick and tired of the Vietnam war, demonstrations, conscriptions, energy crisis - and hungry for excitement, international travel, mass-produced affordable watches, Olympic games, photography, and solid, undiluted Rock and Roll. We were ready for Seiko 5.

And fifty five years later, SEIKO is still here, to excite and entertain. The two latest anniversary models sum up nicely the sport of the era: the bright 'orange and black sector inner bezel' and the tricolori RGB. Special edition, as marked on the case back.

And still at the price no Swiss manufacturer could match: only $495.

Both colours in stock - call 02 9232 0500 to place your order now. If you mention that you are a subscriber to this newsletter, will throw in a free delivery.

Happy anniversary SEIKO, well done.

The Supercars are back

One of the more surprising and exciting partnerships to come from Seiko, was the one they made last year with the Supercars. A distinctly Australian motorsport, famous for mechanical ingenuity and sending machines to the nth degree - it was an obvious partnership with Seiko who have a common philosophy.

To commemorate the 2022 Season, and the continued Seiko x Supercars partnership, Seiko have released a limited edition 'bitumen black and victory gold' Seiko 5 with only 2022 pieces available. It also comes with a silicon mesh strap with a gold supercars insignia.

Seiko have also released three special edition Seiko 5 with a carbon fibre pattern dial, coloured inner chapter ring and seconds hand, on a black silicon strap. They come in either red, blue, or yellow, each having their own distinct look, in a 42.5mm case. We have no idea how long these ones will be out for, but being special editions, I don't think we will be seeing too many.

Show your true Supercar spirit with one of these Seiko 5, or just get it for the super cool race inspired designs.
